Three ways to recruit and select the candidates

Other Scholarships
The number of scholarships which are granted to students before coming to Japan is very limited. Some of the international students who come to Gifu University also hold scholarships offered by the government of their home countries. For further information, please contact the relevant office in your country.
In Japan, several overseas student support organizations (local authorities and private scholarship foundations) provide scholarships to privately-financed students who are recognized as having outstanding academic and personal records and who have financial difficulties. In general, students who have entered Gifu University after arriving in Japan are eligible to apply for the scholarships. The applications for these scholarships are processed through the administrative office at the faculty or graduate school which you are enrolled.
For more information about scholarships, please refer to "Scholarship for Privately Financed Students."
However, since the selections for these scholarships are very competitive, it is generally necessary to have enough financial resource prior to entering Gifu University.
