Gifu University carries out a wide range of international exchange events and activities for a whole month under the name of "International Month" every year. This year, "International Month 2021" kicks off in October.

本学の国際化を促進するため、毎年１か月間を「国際月間」と位置づけ、様々な国際交流行事を開催しています。本年度は10月を国際月間とし、異文化への相互理解を深めるイベントを実施しています。


"International Exchange Party Hosted by the President" had long been a special feature of International Month events/activities since its inception in 2014. However, with due concern to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which is still afflicting many parts of the world and Japan, President Hisataka Moriwaki has been unable to host the parties in person since 2020. In lieu of that, through his video message, he is conveying his warmest welcome to international students and researchers of Gifu University who have not been able to come to Japan yet due to this pandemic. He is also highlighting some of the goals and initiatives that Gifu University has been pursuing to enhance our global competitiveness and contribute to the well-being of our local communities. 国際月間では学長主催国際交流パーティを開催していますが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により実施が困難なため、前年度に引き続き学長からの動画メッセージを配信しています。コロナ禍において、まだ渡日が叶わない外国人留学生および外国人研究者の皆さんに向け、激励の言葉と共に岐阜大学の魅力や国際化への取り組みが語られています。
