New Year Gathering of the Gifu University Entrepreneurs' Association Held
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, the Gifu University Entrepreneurs' Association1 held its New Year gathering at the Miyako Hotel Gifu Nagaragawa in Gifu City. This event was organized to bring together business leaders who studied at Gifu University, deepen exchanges across generations and industries, and foster future collaboration and co-creation.
Approximately 30 participants attended the gathering, including business leaders who are members of the association and university representatives. The event opened with a greeting from Vice Chair OGURI Michihiro (Chairman & CEO, Gifu Zohen Co., Ltd.). This was followed by a toast by Chief Secretary SATO Takehiko (President, Sato Pack Co., Ltd. / Member of the Gifu Prefectural Assembly), after which the gathering began in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
During the event, President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro of Gifu University provided an update on recent developments at Gifu University. In addition, speeches were delivered on behalf of the members by Mr. Sato and Ms. ASAI Akiko (Representative, Kotonoha no Utsuwa), who shared their expectations for the association.
On the following day, Monday, January 26, another New Year gathering was held in Tokyo, with seven members--primarily those living in the metropolitan area--participating. This gathering also featured active discussions and exchanges, making it a meaningful occasion.
The Gifu University Entrepreneurs' Association will continue to promote activities in collaboration with Gifu University and the local community, based on exchanges among its members.
