The Nickname for the University Dining Hall No.1 has been decided as "API DINING"

Gifu University has entered into a naming rights agreement with API Co., Ltd., and based on this contract, the University Dining Hall No.1 will be officially nicknamed "API DINING." This nickname will be used for a period of four years, from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2029. This marks the first instance of introducing naming rights at a welfare facility within the university.

The naming rights system has been introduced with the aim of generating revenue to support the advancement and enhancement of the university's education and research. The revenue obtained through this agreement will be used for that purpose.

"API DINING" is a dining hall operated by the Gifu University Co-op, serving meals during lunch hours and in the evening. It is a popular facility bustling with students during lunchtime.

API Co., Ltd., the naming rights partner, is headquartered in Gifu City and is Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of health supplements and pharmaceuticals. Under the vision of "Creating a rich and healthy society through honeybees," the company actively develops original products and supports agriculture and beekeeping.

With the signing of this agreement, Gifu University and API Co., Ltd. will work together to ensure that the nickname "API DINING" becomes familiar and well-established among students.
