GU has posted "Special Needs Education Management Training for Principals Supporting Regular Classes" on MEXT's National Teacher Training Platform 'Plant'.

With the amendment of the "Special Act for Education Personnel" in 2022, a system was institutionalized to record teachers' training histories and provide guidance and advice based on these records. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has established the "National Teacher Training Platform 'Plant'", which allows for centralized management of training attendance and the creation of training history records.

On this platform, Gifu University has posted the "Special Needs Education Management Training for Principals Supporting Regular Classes" from the Gifu University Graduate School for Teaching Profession. This training consists of lectures where school principals learn about the philosophy of inclusive education, thoughtfulness, as well as exercises to create enhancement plans for their own schools based on this knowledge.

The training's video content was created in collaboration with the Gifu Prefecture Elementary and Junior High School Principals Association, with support from the "2023 National Institute for School Teachers and Staff Development (NITS) - Gifu University Graduate School for Teaching Profession Collaborative Training."

We hope that school principals, vice-principals, and school leaders will find it useful for their learning, in-school training, and administrative training.
