Gifu University Faculty of Education and Mie University Faculty of Education Sign Cooperation Agreement

On Friday, February 14, 2025, at the multipurpose hall of Mie University Faculty of Education, Gifu University Faculty of Education and Mie University Faculty of Education signed a cooperation agreement.

After signing the agreement, Professor YAMADA Masahiro, Dean of Gifu University Faculty of Education (left), and Professor ITO Nobunari, Dean of Mie University Faculty of Education (right), shaking hands.

This agreement aims to enhance and improve the quality of educational programs, including teacher training courses, contribute to the development of the local community, and support the learning of local children through collaboration and cooperation between the two universities' faculties of education.

At the signing ceremony, both deans signed the agreement. Professor Yamada remarked, "We have been discussing with Mie University Faculty of Education since 2022. I am truly delighted that we can conclude this agreement as the culmination of our efforts. Moving forward, we aim to enrich the learning of students in Mie Prefecture and Gifu Prefecture, respectively, and walk hand in hand while combining our strengths."

Following this, Professor Ito expressed his aspirations, saying, "We have finally reached the point of signing. There are many challenges we must overcome together. We hope to become an organization that supports education in both Gifu and Mie prefectures, maximizing our common strengths and deepening our collaboration to further improve education."

Gifu University Faculty of Education and Mie University Faculty of Education will continue to foster collaboration and cooperation in the field of education, utilizing our respective ideals and characteristics to further enrich regional education.
