The 2nd C2-FRONTS International Collaboration Promotion Meeting.
On Friday, January 24, 2025, Gifu University held the '2nd C2-FRONTS International Collaboration Promotion Meeting.' The meeting was attended by vice presidents and vice presidents in charge of international affairs from Shinshu University, Shizuoka University, Nagoya University, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Toyohashi University of Technology, Mie University, and National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Toyota College.
In this meeting, Professor INOUE Masahiro from Keio University (Tokyo) participated online and gave a lecture on 'The Latest Trends in Micro-Credentials1.' In the lecture, detailed explanations were provided on the development of micro-credentials both domestically and internationally, and how each institution should respond in the future. Particularly, the insights on the potential for international collaboration using micro-credentials and the challenges in their implementation were extremely valuable for the participants.
The meeting proceeded in a friendly atmosphere, with active discussions on the status and challenges of international exchange initiatives at each institution, as well as requests and prospects for collaboration with other institutions.
Gifu University will continue to promote international collaboration through frequent information sharing with related institutions and striving for further development.
