FiberCraze Corporation has had its products adopted for 'Paris Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2025'

FiberCraze Corporation, a venture company certified by Gifu University (President and CEO: Mr. CHOSOKABE Shunya, an alumnus of Gifu University), has developed an innovative fiber material called 'Craze-tex®,' which has been adopted for the globally renowned fashion event, 'Paris Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2025.'

FiberCraze Corporation was established based on research technology from Gifu University, and the adoption by 'Paris Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2025' marks the company's first product commercialization. 'Craze-tex®' is a new material inspired by the defect phenomenon of plastics. By using nano-crazing technology to create countless invisible holes in the fibers, it can provide functions such as insect repellency, antibacterial properties, and deodorization.

Mr. Chosokabe commented, "Having Craze-tex®, a material born from years of university research, recognized on the world's top stage at the Paris Fashion Week is a significant opportunity to convey its innovation and great potential to the international fashion industry. Additionally, our technical philosophy of reinterpreting the phenomenon traditionally avoided as a 'defect' in plastics as a possibility aligns perfectly with the creativity of doublet, which overturns existing values."

Gifu University is very proud that the technology developed based on our research results has been evaluated on the world stage as an actual product. We will continue to promote the development of innovative technologies and contribute to society through industry-academia collaboration.
