The 3rd Gifu University Photo & Art Contest Award Ceremony
On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, the award ceremony for the '3rd Gifu University Photo & Art Contest' was held. This contest aims to showcase the 'charm of Gifu University' as experienced by students and staff in their daily and campus life, both within and outside the university. This time, approximately 70 wonderful works were submitted, and after judging, six works were honored with awards.

- Best Prize: (nickname) Hayate from the Faculty of Regional Studies
- Excellence Prize: Mr. KABEYA Takaaki from the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology and Mr. MATSUO Noriaki from the Gifu University Organization for the Promotion of Glocalization
- Honorable Mention: Ms. IGUCHI Chikako from the General Affairs Department, (nickname) TK from the Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences
- Vice President for Public Relations Prize: (nickname) Chiimako from the Faculty of Education
At the award ceremony, Vice President OYABU Chiho began by saying, "Thank you all for your numerous submissions. We will use these works in university public relations to showcase the many wonderful aspects of Gifu University." She then presented certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts to the awardees.
On behalf of the awardees, Hayate, who won the best prize, expressed his joy, saying, "I took this photo lying in a puddle in the evening when a typhoon hit. I am truly happy to have been selected for the best prize."
The submitted works will be used in university public relations. Through such initiatives, Gifu University will continue to promote the charm of Gifu University both within and outside the campus.
