Gifu University Set Up a Booth at FC Gifu 'Partner Company Exhibition.'
On Saturday, September 28, Gifu University set up a booth for carbon neutrality at the 'Exciting Partner Company Exhibition' hosted by the Football Club Gifu (FC Gifu) at the Gifu Memorial Center Nagaragawa Stadium Lawn Square.
The major purpose of the booth was to inform spectators of FC Gifu's home game about Gifu University's efforts to attain carbon neutrality in the fields of education, research, and social contribution.
At the Gifu University booth, panels were displayed introducing the activities of the Center for Collaborative Study with Community, the Center for Environmental and Societal Sustainability, and the Environmental Affairs Office. A panel on 'Tips for a Safe Life BOOK 2' created by the Gifu Prefecture Center for Climate Change Adaptation was also in display. Additionally, a quiz corner on energy-saving activities that can be done at home, a voting panel for energy-saving activities practiced at home, and a corner for making personalized fans provided visitors with the motivation to start energy-saving practices.
Approximately 120 people of various age groups, including families with children, visited the university booth. They enjoyed making personalized fans and deepened their understanding of energy-saving activities through the voting corner and energy-saving quiz corner. Eco-bags were given as prizes to those who answered the quizzes correctly.
Gifu University and FC Gifu signed a partnership agreement in 2017, and this exhibition was part of the initiatives based on this agreement. Gifu University will continue to collaborate with FC Gifu to contribute to the creation of a sustainable community.
