GU students organized and hosted the '22nd Gifu University Student Business Exhibition (Industry Research Seminar)' on Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17, 2023. It is one of the largest on-campus events whose working committee is led by third-year students, and the committee is officially recognized by Gifu University to plan and manage the exhibition. A total of 220 companies participated in the event, attracting a large number of students, primarily third-year undergraduate and first-year master's students who are actively engaged in job hunting. Feedback from participating students included comments such as 'The exhibiting companies provided us wide perspectives of business operations and working environment.'

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, the chairperson of the committee, Mr. KATSUNO Tomohiro, a third-year student from the Faculty of Engineering, reported the successful execution of the exhibition to President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro. He shared the challenges of coordinating with exhibiting companies and various service providers, which involved significant responsibilities and constraints. Despite these difficulties, all eight members of the committee engaged in discussions and secured cooperation from relevant parties, resulting in a huge success of the event. Mr. Katsuno also highlighted the sense of accomplishment in increasing student participation through innovative planning and promotional activities. President Yoshida commended the students for their proactive efforts in ensuring the success of the exhibition and encouraged them to pass on their knowledge to their juniors and address challenges to further enhance next year's development.
