Gifu University is Recruiting Students for "2024 Meteorological Data Analyst Training Program."

Gifu University started recruiting students from Tuesday, February 13, 2024 for "Meteorological Data Analyst Training Program" (graduate school completion certificate program) for working professionals who wish to start their studies in April 2024.

This program, which began in April 2023, is the first of its kind to be implemented at the university. It has received certification from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as part of the "Fourth Industrial Revolution Skills Acquisition Course" and from the Japan Meteorological Agency as part of the "Meteorological Data Analyst Training Course." As a "recurrent education program for working adults," the program aims to train professionals from various industries who are susceptible to the impacts of weather and climate. Participants will learn to accurately interpret meteorological data and make optimal decisions based on meteorological risks. The program consisting of eight credits (a total of 96 hours), is offered by the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology at Gifu University and can be attended remotely (online/on-demand) to accommodate working professionals nationwide. Eligibility: Graduates of Japanese universities or individuals with equivalent academic qualifications
