"Notification of Scholarship for Students with Excellent Academic Performance Presentation Ceremony AY 2023" was held on Monday, April 10, 2023.

Since 2010, as part of the Gifu University Fund-financed activities, the university offers a scholarship to model students who are hard-working and have achieved outstanding academic records. We hope this scholarship will be a great encouragement for students who are expected to become highly skilled professionals and work for society. Twenty-four students received the notifications for AY2023.

At the ceremony, President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro handed out the notification to each student and gave them the words of encouragement; "By understanding the real purpose of the scholarship financed by the Gifu University Fund, please study hard and enjoy fulfilling campus life." It was followed by a presentation by Vice President SUGIYAMA Makoto (General Manager,(Evaluation, General Affairs, Public Relations and Fund)) for the students concerning the Gifu University Fund.

On behalf of the students, Ms. Ohta Mikoto (third-year student, Nursing Course, School of Medicine) expressed her resolutions: "We will take full advantage of this scholarship and devote ourselves to our studies and research activities at Gifu University."

Gifu University continues to support students in their efforts for high academic achievements and nurture great talents who can contribute to society.
