Collaborative-Type Joint Research Fund Awarding Ceremony

The Gender Equality Promotion Office, Gifu University hosted "Collaborative-Type Joint Research Fund 2022 Awarding Ceremony for Gifu Future Project Spearheaded by Researchers with Great Diversity" on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Five female researchers at Gifu University were selected to receive the fund in 2022.

"Gifu Future Project Spearheaded by Researchers with Great Diversity" started in 2021 as a replacement of "Initiative for Realizing Diversity in the Research Environment (Collaboration Model)" of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (responsible bodies: Gifu University, Gifu Pharmaceutical University, Gifu Women's University, API Co., Ltd. Period: 2015-2020). As part of this project, "Collaborative-Type Joint Research Fund" continues to be provided for female researchers since 2015 to enhance their research capabilities and for regional revitalization by teaming up with researchers at responsible bodies.

At the ceremony, President Kazuhiro Yoshida handed certificates to five recipients and said, "As researchers representing the University, please continue working together with your partners for application of your research achievements for the benefits of people and society."

Five researchers and their partners make their presentations at "Collaborative-Type Joint Research" report session scheduled at the end of this fiscal year.
