Gifu University Entrance Ceremony for Undergraduate and Graduate Students for AY 2022
Gifu University Entrance Ceremony for Undergraduate and Graduate Students for AY 2022 was held at Nagaragawa Convention Center on Thursday, April 7, 2022. The number of students enrolled in are: 1,352 undergraduate students and 596 graduate students respectively. On April 7, the ceremonies were held three times by faculties/schools to prevent Covid infections, but all new students were able to attend the ceremony first in three years since 2019 before the outbreak of COVID-19.
President Kazuhiro Yoshida in his congratulatory message urged students to become aware that studying at Gifu University means to act responsibly as a full member of society. For newly enrolled graduate students, he said, "You may face enormous challenges ahead while engaging in research, but please do not give up your hopes and keep on pursuing your dreams until they are coming true."
On behalf of the new students, Ms. Hirona Miyama (Graduate School of Regional Studies), Ms. Moe Nakashima (School of Social System Management) and Mr. Ryosei Ono (Faculty of Engineering) announced their resolutions to devote themselves to their studies and research work at Gifu University to attain their respective goals in the future.
