Construction work of a "farm animal clinical training facility" at Yanagido Farm, Gifu University was completed, and the scene of first facility tour was aired on TV.

"Farm animal clinical training facility" is designed to promote educational and research activities for cattle raising, farm animal clinical testing and livestock hygiene, etc. It opens to students who are studying to become veterinarians or livestock business professionals in the future. It also aims to become the "first line of defense" against outbreaks and spread of infectious diseases in close cooperation with the Gifu Central Livestock Hygiene Service Center. Because there are no universities or colleges with specialized livestock research facilities near Gifu University, the facility also opens to the students from other universities, colleges or institutions.
