At Gifu University, many classes have been offering to students in-person, but some classes are conducted online as well (such as e-Learning (remote teaching) programs). Whether you need PCs for attendance of e-Learning or not depends on the subjects you will be taking, thus, we are not able to recommend any specific types of PCs for students. Therefore, the following information is for your reference only if you are planning to purchase PCs for your attendance of e-Learning at home.

Maximum Volume of Data Traffic
Gifu University is offering students a wide range of online services such as "AIMS-Gifu" for class information, educational materials, etc., and "Campus-G" for credit registration, confirmation of grades, e-mails from the university, etc. Depending on the courses/subjects, some classes are conducted online, but such online education services may not become available if users surpass their monthly limit of data traffic. For your attendance of e-Learning at home, we recommend a more stable internet access through an optical network system or cable TV line at home, which will allow users no limit of data traffic.
