iGEM Gifu wins Bronze Award at iGEM 2019 Giant Jamboree

iGEM Gifu (Gifu University student team) won Bronze Award at iGEM 2019 Giant Jamboree held at Boston, Massachusetts, the United States, from October 31 through November 4, 2019.

iGEM Giant Jamboree is the world competition of synthetic biology. Gifu University student teams keep on participating in the competitions since 2014, and winning of Bronze Award at iGEM 2019 Giant Jamboree marked the sixth consecutive victory for Gifu University.

On November 13, iGEM Gifu members visited the Office of President, and reported their victory to President Hisataka Moriwaki. The members talked about the contents of their presentations and feedback from experts and other participants. President Moriwaki said, "I hope your unique experiences are handed down to your juniors. Winning a golden award at iGEM Giant Jamboree is an ultimate goal for all of us. Please continue to try your best."
