On October 7, 2019, Gifu University carried out a fire prevention drill on campus using indoor fire hydrants. The participants learned how to use hydrants and practiced releasing water. Thirty-three people including those who are in charge of fire prevention attended. They were divided into a group of four, and engaged in a sequence of a drill together such as turning on a hydrant, unwinding a hose, calling out, opening a valve, and releasing water.
