Gifu University held the Open Campus 2019 on August 10, 11 and 19, 20, 2019. A total of 8,552 (preliminary figures) people attended the campus events in these four days.

During the Open Campus, the university faculty staff introduced its courses and subjects, helped visitors take part in trial lessons and training sessions at each faculty. They also offered a facility tour, presented an overview of university's entrance examination and unique features of faculties to the visitors. Gifu University students volunteered to show people around the campus, organized exhibitions, and held talks with people. Since its start, this annual open campus program has been a huge success to convey the real charms and attractions of Gifu University to the public.

Many visitors showed their strong interest in Gifu University's leading-edge research programs and campus activities during this four-day open campus program.
