The United Graduate School of Agricultural Science (UGSAS) held a seminar, "The 10th United Graduate School of Agricultural Science Seminar; Overseas Research Internship Report Session" on May 22, 2019. A total of sixteen people attended.

After the opening speech by a career path coordinator Eiji Chihara (UGSAS), three students who attended the "Research Internship (one of UGSAS's course subjects)," made their presentations. Two engaged in research at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST: Ibaraki Prefecture), and one at Chulalongkorn University (Thailand). They spoke about their activities at the institute and the university, introduced their invaluable experiences of carrying out assignments through close communications with their supervisors. While expressing their deep appreciation for an opportunity of the internship, they said they look forward to the days of applying their precious experiences to their future academic activities.

The footage of the seminar was distributed to Shizuoka University (Gifu University's partner school) in real time via teleconferencing system. Active Q & A session followed for some time.
