A food truck "Kitchen Car"
A food truck "Kitchen Car" started to offer a variety of dishes to customers near Maruike Pond on April 11, 2019. This food service is expected to ease congestion at the university's dining halls during lunch break.
On April 11, President Hisataka Moriwaki and Vice President Seiki Ofuji (Executive Director for General Affairs and Finance) ordered their lunch. It was a fine day, and many people enjoyed the dishes they ordered near the pond. The food truck serves different kinds of dishes every day from April 11 to 26, October 1 to 15, and every Monday and Tuesday from May to August, and from the latter half of October to February except for weekends, national holidays and long recess.
