The Notification of Scholarship for Students with Excellent Academic Performance Presentation Ceremony AY 2019 was held on April 10, 2019.

Since 2010, as part of Gifu University Fund-financed activities, the university offers a scholarship to model students who are hard-working, and have achieved outstanding academic records. We hope this scholarship will be a great encouragement for students who are expected to become highly skilled professionals and work for society. Twenty-five students received the notifications for AY2019.

At the ceremony, President Hisataka Moriwaki handed out the notification to each student and gave them the following statement; "By understanding the real purpose of the scholarship financed by Gifu University Fund, please study hard and enjoy fulfilling campus life."

On behalf of the students, Ms. Wenduerma (from Inner Mongolia, China, 3rd year doctoral degree student at the Graduate School of Medicine) expressed her resolution about her study at Gifu University; "We will take full advantage of the scholarship and devote ourselves to our studies and research at Gifu University. I wish I could engage in activities to make my home country's traditional medicine known to the world. "
