Gifu University Collaborative Type Joint Research Results 2018 Report Session

Gifu University hosted Collaborative Type Joint Research Results 2018 Report Session on campus on February 26, 2019. The research was carried out under "Seiryu-no-kuni (Land of Clear Water) Gifu Women Support Project" of Initiative for Implementation of Diversity Research Environment (collaborative type) by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

In the session, researchers who received funds from Gifu University and three other organizations (Gifu Pharmaceutical University, Gifu Women's University and API Co., Ltd.), and worked for eight different research themes, gave a 10 minute speech for each theme such as development of new medicine, health food, mental health of university students, etc.

When all speeches were over, President Hisataka Moriwaki, Vice President Shuichi Nonomura (Executive Director for Academic Research and Information) of Gifu University, Vice President Hideaki Hara of Gifu Pharmaceutical University, President Reiko Matsukawa of Gifu Women's University, and President Takahiko Nonogaki of API made questions and gave comments to the speakers.

Joint researchers, students, teaching and administrative staff involved in eight research themes and media people gathered at the venue and listened to the speeches with great interest. Some of the joint research activities carried on the themes selected for the project already resulted in patent applications and publications, exemplifying a huge success of the project started in 2015.
