Gifu University holds an awarding ceremony to honor organizations and individuals for their excellent achievements in their extra-curricular activities.

The ceremony was held at Academic Core on campus on February 27, 2019, and eight organizations and twenty-two individuals were presented the certificates of commendation by Dr. Satoshi Ema, Executive Director for Academic and Affiliated School Affairs.

After the ceremony, Dr. Ema remarked that all award recipients are the source of pride for Gifu University and their constant efforts deserve the awards. "Teamwork and friendship will be your lifetime assets. Please hand over your experiences and achievements to your juniors." he added.

"I am very honored to have the certificate today in recognition of hard work regardless of the nature of activities we are engaged in. I feel very motivated by the awarding today" said Mr. Ryu Sakakibara, a second-year student of the Faculty of Education and a member of Go (Japanese Board Game) Club.

Gifu University continues to support students' extracurricular activities.
