An Early Voting Station is set up at Gifu University

An Early Voting Station was set up at Gifu University for the 48th Lower House Election and the 24th People's Examination of the Supreme Court Judges at No.6 Meeting Room on the second floor of the University Hall on October 13, 2017.
The early voting station was set up at Gifu University for the 19th Gubernatorial Election of Gifu Prefecture in January this year, and it was set up again at the university at the request of the Gifu City Secretariat of the Board of Election. Opportunities of an early voting are expected to encourage students, teaching and administrative staff to be actively engaged in various election events, and to stay well-informed on the world of politics. Gifu University students served as election observers and voting administrators.

A total of 122 people cast their ballots at the station on October 13. The 48th Lower House Election and the 24th People's Examination of the Supreme Court Judges are held on October 22. We hope that the early voting gives a strong momentum to the university students to think proactively about nation's politics.
