The 65th Graduation and Completion Work Exhibition of Art Education Course of Faculty of Education / The 10th Student Work Exhibition is held.

One of the goals of "Gifu University Future Vision toward 2025" is to strengthen functions of Training Course for School Teachers (develop a Teacher Education Course at Professional Degree Program). Under the goal, Gifu University has produced many graduates who become teachers at schools inside and outside of Gifu Prefecture every year.

From February 14 to 19, 2017, "The 65th Graduation and Completion Work Exhibition of Art Education Course of Faculty of Education / The 10th Student Work Exhibition" was held at The Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu.

Art works in various categories such as painting, sculpture, design and craft were on display at the museum. They were created by 14 students to be graduated from Gifu University and the Graduate School in March, as well as 34 undergraduate students. All of the works are culmination of what they have studied at the university for all these years.

As a special event for this year, Mr. Katsuhiko Hibino, Director of The Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu and professor of Tokyo University of the Arts was invited to the museum as a special guest and commented on the students' artworks.

During the exhibition, many people came to the museum to see the artworks. The event provided a good opportunity for Gifu University to introduce the activities of Faculty of Education to the public.
We would like to express our deep appreciation to everyone who kindly came to the museum for the exhibition.
