Opening Ceremony for Japanese Language & Culture Studies Course, Japanese Society & Culture Program, and Japanese Language Course (Intensive Course)

Gifu University International Student Center held the opening ceremony for Japanese Language & Culture Studies Course, Japanese Society & Culture Program, and Japanese Language Course on Friday, October 10.
The Japanese Language & Culture Studies Course, which is a one-year course, is designed for Japanese Government Scholarship recipients (Embassy Recommendation, University Recommendation) and exchange students from sister universities to study Japanese language and culture.
The Japanese Society and Culture Program is introduced for students from sister universities who wish to acquire a profound knowledge of Japanese society and culture.
The International Student Center also offers the Japanese Language Course (Intensive Course), which is a 15-week intensive Japanese language course, for Japanese Government Scholarship recipients, graduate, research and exchange students.
A total of 39 international students attended the ceremony, and the students from each course spoke how they decided to come to Japan and expressed their strong will to study hard. The ceremony was filled with the excitement.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Toyohide Takeuchi, Director of International Student Center, gave a brief introduction of the Center and encouraged students to learn a lot and enjoy their campus life while looking after their own health.
