The Mid-term Report Meeting is held at the Education Faculty Affiliated Elementary School and Junior High School

On June 18 and 19, 2016, the Mid-term Report Meeting was held at the Education Faculty Affiliated Elementary School and Junior High School.

In this meeting, research themes are proposed from the Elementary School and the Junior High School respectively, and with these themes in mind, participants hold open classes and exchange opinions with a view to further improvement of education and research work.
This year, more than 1,000 teachers and teaching staff from inside and outside of Gifu Prefecture joined the meeting.

Towards new roles to be played by educators and schools, the Elementary School proposed the discussion theme, "Children's Education for Collaboration to Create New Values: Class Operation Promoting Collaborative Learning." The Junior High School proposed the theme, "Students Capable of Navigating Through the New Age: Curriculums to Foster Versatility." Under these themes, the participants talked about the specifics of practical research activities and took part in the subcommittees.

In every subcommittee, people engaged in serious discussions concerning the proposed themes and shared their ideas.
It is hoped that the Mid-term Report Meeting will drive further growth and development of the Education Faculty Affiliated Elementary School and Junior High School in the future.
