GU team won awards at Tongali Business Plan Contest 2023

Four Gifu University student teams belonging to the Startup Club won the awards including the award of excellence (second-best) at the Tongali Business Plan Contest 2023 held on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Undergraduate, graduate students of universities in Tokai Region (Aichi, Gifu, Mie and Shizuoka prefectures) are eligible to apply for the contest. Its major objectives are to create business ventures from universities and promote entrepreneurship.

On Thursday, June 29, the teams' representatives visited the Office of the President and reported their wins to President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro. They gave the president the overview of their business plans and their planned registration of business plans as early as next month. President Yoshida congratulated them on their wins and gave them strong words of encouragement.
