On Saturday, March 25, 2023, Gifu University AY 2022 Commencement Ceremony was held at Nagaragawa Convention Center (Gifu City). The ceremony was conducted three times to prevent new coronavirus infections, and the scene was live-streamed on Gifu University YouTube.

To the graduating 1,301 undergraduate students and 576 graduate students, President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro gave the following message, "Arm yourself with the wisdom you have gained here, be proud of yourself, and walk with your head held high as a Gifu University graduate. Demonstrate your strong leadership skills in the global community by utilizing the robust networks and friendships you have forged both on and off campus. I truly look forward to working with each one of you in the near future."

On behalf of the graduating students, Mr. MOCHIZUKI Shohei from the Faculty of Regional Studies stated, "We all need to have strengths and skills to deal with and overcome numerous challenges in the new environment. We will not forget what we have learned at Gifu University, continue to learn and make every effort for the realization of a better society."
