Early Voting Station was set up at Gifu University

An early voting station for the Gifu Prefectural Assembly Election was set up at the Information Management Core on Yanagido campus on April 5, 2019.

The station was set up at the request of the Gifu City Secretariat of the Board of Election. We believe that opportunities for an early voting will encourage students, teaching and administrative staff to be actively engaged in election events, and to stay well-informed on the world of politics. Gifu University students served as election observers and voting administrators.

A total of 117 people came to the station to cast their ballots. President Hisataka Moriwaki was one of those who voted at the station.
