Gifu Joint Degree Symposium 2020

 On April 1, 2020, the "Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (THERS)" was officially launched, integrating two major educational institutions in the central Japan region namely - Gifu University and Nagoya University into one single institutional framework. Currently, 10 international collaborative programs are offered by THERS. In April 2019, Gifu University launched four distinctive international graduate Joint Degree (JD) programs. To commemorate the start of JD programs, Gifu University hosted the first "Gifu Joint Degree Symposium" in October 2019. In this second "Gifu Joint Degree Symposium 2020," faculty members, researchers, etc. from Gifu University's overseas partner institutions, as well as people in private businesses both at home and abroad will discuss the theme, "Joint Degree Programs in Post-Coronavirus Era" online.
