ミャンマーで発生した大地震について/ Regarding the Major Earthquake in Myanmar

　3月28日に発生した、ミャンマー中部を震源とするマグニチュード7.7の大地震について、ミャンマーおよび隣国のタイにおいても甚大な被害が報道されています。大地震の犠牲となられた皆様に対しまして深く哀悼の意を表しますとともに、被災された方、そのご家族・関係者の皆様に、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。また、被災地の一日も早い復興をご祈念します。

（岐阜大学とミャンマー・タイとの連携について）
　岐阜大学は、ミャンマーの4つの大学と、タイの７つの大学と学術交流協定を締結しており、2025年３月３1日現在、ミャンマーから４名、タイから９名の留学生が在籍しています。

On March 28, 2025, a major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck central Myanmar, causing extensive damage in Myanmar and neighboring Thailand.
We express our deepest condolences to those who have lost their lives in this disaster and extend our heartfelt sympathies to the victims, their families, and all those affected.
We also pray for the swift recovery of the affected areas.

(Regarding Gifu University's Collaboration with Myanmar and Thailand)
Gifu University has academic exchange agreements with four universities in Myanmar and seven universities in Thailand. As of March 31, 2025, there are four international students from Myanmar and nine from Thailand enrolled at Gifu University.
