Two GU Student Teams Win Awards at the Tongali Business Plan Contest 2026

Two student teams from Gifu University achieved outstanding success at the Tongali Business Plan Contest 2026 Final, held at Chunichi Hall & Conference, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The contest was organized by the Tongali Project1.

The Tongali Business Plan Contest is held annually for university and graduate students across Japan with the aim of fostering entrepreneurship and supporting the creation of student-led startups. In its 10th edition, the competition attracted a record-breaking 114 teams, which presented innovative business ideas and business plans.

These awards demonstrate the achievements of Gifu University's practical and innovation-oriented education. Notably, Gifu University has had multiple award-winning teams for five consecutive years. This success reflects the university's commitment to entrepreneurship education and the active engagement of students through initiatives such as the university's officially recognized Start-up Club.
