The 5th Gifu University Photo & Art Contest Award Ceremony Held
On Thursday, March 5, 2026, the 5th Gifu University Photo & Art Contest Award Ceremony was held. This contest aims to share the unique appeal of Gifu University, as experienced through everyday campus life, with audiences both on and off campus. It is open to students, faculty, and staff. This year, a total of 69 outstanding works were submitted. Following a review process, six works were selected for awards.
During the award ceremony, award recipients explained the background behind their works, sharing comments such as, "Although it was just before exams, the scenery was so breathtaking that I went to campus to photograph it," and "I headed to campus early in the morning to capture a pristine snowy landscape before anyone had disturbed it." These stories highlighted the creativity and passion behind capturing fleeting moments of natural beauty.
The submitted works are scheduled to be used in university public relations materials. Gifu University will continue to showcase its unique attractions both on and off campus through initiatives such as this contest.
