Professor IWATA Hisashi of the University Hospital has Received the Ogami Award" from the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery
Professor IWATA Hisashi, Head of the Division of General Thoracic Surgery at the University Hospital, has received the 18th Ogami Award from the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery. The Ogami Award is presented once a year to a single individual who has made outstanding contributions to the advancement and dissemination of endoscopic surgery and is regarded as the highest honor among physicians engaged in endoscopic surgery in Japan. This is the first time that a member of Gifu University has received this prestigious award.
