On Friday, October 17, 2025, an interim presentation was held by 14 schoolteachers who have been dispatched by the Gifu Prefectural Board of Education to the School Administrators Prepare Course at the Graduate School of Education, Gifu University.
"Development Practice" is a core component of the graduate school's curriculum, in which students develop practical solutions to educational issues commissioned by schools and local communities.
During the presentation, each student reported on the progress of their initiatives. Representatives from the Gifu Prefectural Board of Education provided feedback, recognizing the efforts to address current educational challenges faced by schools. They offered individual advice and comments, emphasizing the importance of engaging in dialogue to encounter diverse perspectives, analyzing the outcomes and factors of practice development to enhance sustainability and applicability, and how these practices serve as opportunities to improve the qualities and competencies required of school administrators.
This presentation was a valuable opportunity for the 14 students to understand how their studies at the Graduate School of Education contribute to their professional growth as school administrators and how they can make meaningful contributions to schools and communities through solving educational issues.
