The 4th Gifu University Photo & Art Competition Award Ceremony Held

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the award ceremony for the 4th Gifu University Photo & Art Competition was held. This competition aims to share the "miryoku (attractiveness)" of Gifu University, as experienced by students and faculty/staff through their daily campus life, with both internal and external audiences. This year, 53 wonderful entries were submitted, and after careful review, six works were selected for awards. Below is the list of award recipients. Grand Prize: YAMANE Kyoko from the Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences
Excellence Award: Nickname: Katatsumuri from the Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences, Assistant Professor MATSUO Noriaki from the Gifu University Organization for Promotion of Glocalization (GU-GLOCAL)
Honorable Mention: AKIBA Rei from the Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences, Assistant Professor Noriaki from GU-GLOCAL
Vice President for Public Relations Award: Nickname: Chiikama from the Faculty of Education

During the ceremony, Vice President for Public Relations, OYABU Chiho expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you very much for your submissions. These works will be used in university public relations and other materials. I hope many people will feel the charm of Gifu University's everyday scenes and seasonal landscapes." Then, she presented certificates and commemorative gifts to the awardees.

The submitted works are planned to be used in university PR activities. Gifu University will continue to promote its appeal both inside and outside the university through initiatives like this competition.
