Clean Campus in Spring 2025
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, Gifu University held a "Clean Campus in Spring 2025."
A total of 1,178 participants - including faculty and staff, students, and members from Gifu Pharmaceutical University and the Gifu Prefectural Research Institute for Food Sciences on campus - took part in approximately one hour of campus-wide cleaning activities.
This year saw a particularly high turnout of students, who not only engaged in the regular cleaning efforts but also cleaned athletic facilities used for students' extracurricular activities.
In addition, a total of 57 faculty and student volunteers carried out the "Zero Waste Around Campus" initiative and picked up trash on the roads and the fields surrounding the university. Inside the administrative offices, air conditioner filters were cleaned as part of preparations for energy conservation during the summer months.
Gifu University remains committed to building a sustainable campus in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
