Vice President (Academic Affairs/ Student Support) Award Ceremony

Gifu University recognizes groups and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in extracurricular activities to promote the healthy development and revitalization of student extracurricular activities.

On Monday, March 24, an awards ceremony was held at the IBIDEN Innovation Hub on campus, where Vice President MASHIKO Norifumi (Academic Affairs/ Student Support) presented awards to five groups and five individuals.

After the award presentation, Vice President Mashiko congratulated the recipients, saying, "Congratulations to all the awardees. Winning awards at external competitions is a testament to your daily efforts. The value of participating in clubs and circle activities while at university lies in working towards a common goal with friends. I hope you will continue to engage in fulfilling activities with your peers."

Representing the awardees, Ms. UWAI Yuriko (third-year student in the Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences) from the environmental circle, G-amet expressed her gratitude, saying, "I am very pleased and encouraged to receive the Vice President's Award for the second consecutive year. Our activities are supported by many people, including our advisor, Professor SAKURADA Osamu. We are very grateful for the extracurricular activity support program from the university, which has been instrumental in our engagement in various activities. This year, we will continue to strive energetically towards a better Gifu University campus, driven by the high motivations of our members."
