Gifu University signs a 'Agreement on Bequest Donations Utilizing Wills' with Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank.
On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the OKB Gifu University Plaza on campus, a signing ceremony was held between Gifu University and Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank (OKB) for a 'Agreement on Bequest Donations Utilizing Wills'
This agreement aims to establish a system where Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank provides advice using their expertise to those considering bequest donations to Gifu University, ensuring the smooth realization of such donations. If individuals considering bequest donations choose Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank for consultation, the bank, which handles trust operations, will offer personalized consultations using their specialized knowledge on procedures related to bequests and will creation. This agreement is expected to create an environment where individuals can proceed with donation procedures with confidence, thereby contributing to the development of the university's educational and research activities as well as the local community through bequest donations.
At the signing ceremony, President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro remarked, "In recent times, bequest donations have been gaining attention. This agreement is a very meaningful initiative for donors, the bank, and the university. With this agreement, we hope to receive the goodwill of even more people, thereby enhancing our educational and research activities and contributing to society."
