Collaborative-Type Joint Research Fund 2023 Awarding Ceremony

The Gender Equality Promotion Office, Gifu University hosted the "Collaborative-Type Joint Research Fund 2023 Awarding Ceremony" for the "Gifu Future Project Spearheaded by Researchers with Great Diversity" on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Four female researchers at Gifu University were selected to receive the fund in 2023.

"Gifu Future Project Spearheaded by Researchers with Great Diversity1" started in 2021 as a replacement of "Initiative for Realizing Diversity in the Research Environment (Collaboration Model)2" of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (responsible bodies: Gifu University, Gifu Pharmaceutical University, Gifu Women's University, API Co., Ltd. Period: 2015-2020). As part of this project, "Collaborative-Type Joint Research Fund" continues to be provided for female researchers since 2015 to enhance their research capabilities and for regional revitalization by teaming up with researchers at responsible bodies.

At the ceremony, President YOSHIDA Kazuhiro handed the certificates to four recipients and said, "As researchers representing Gifu University, please continue working together with your partners for the application of your research achievements for the benefits of people and society."

Four researchers and their partners are working on their research themes and remain committed to enhancing research capabilities and creation of the community.
