All passed National Examination for Veterinarian - three years in a row -

All 35 Gifu University students passed the 71st national examination for veterinarian held in February 2020. This year marked the three consecutive successful year with all Gifu University students passing the exams since 2018. For the past 20 years, Gifu University has been the sole university with all veterinary students passing the exams for two years in a row among 16 national and private universities with the faculty of veterinary medicine, and all students passing for three consecutive years shows Gifu University's academic excellence in veterinary education.

The goals of our Joint Graduate School of Veterinary Sciences are to develop education and research systems to facilitate interdepartmental educational collaboration, to create core curriculums to train students to become veterinarians who have global mindsets and necessary social skill sets.

We will continue to work hard to improve our education and research environments to produce professional veterinarians who are capable of advancing the study of animal health and well-being.
