The 2^nd Press Conference by President for AY 2018 was held on April 27, 2018. In this conference, a signing ceremony was conducted for the university-level partnership with Chubu Gakuin University & College.

This partnership agreement is designed to facilitate a strong collaboration between Gifu University and Chubu Gakuin University & College in order to develop educational research activities among the institutions, specifically they will pursue the following:

1. Promotion of student exchange and joint studies among universities
2. Promotion of joint research activities by the faculty among universities
3. Active sharing of human and material resources and information that the universities own
4. Other matters pertinent to partnership and cooperation

In the ceremony, President Hisataka Moriwaki of Gifu University stated, "Gifu University and Chubu Gakuin University & College have been closely working together for many years and with the signing of this partner agreement, I sincerely hope for building a robust, expansive collaboration mechanism in the near future. Later, President Moriwaki exchanged the signed agreement with President Yoshinori Furuta of Chubu Gakuin University and Ms. Taeko Katagiri of Chubu Gakuin College.

We will continue to join hands in introducing the unique Japanese-style educational system for children with special needs into the ASEAN countries and beyond.
