Gifu University Entrance Ceremony for Undergraduate and Graduate Students for AY 2018

Gifu University Entrance Ceremony for Undergraduate and Graduate Students for AY 2018 was held at Nagaragawa Convention Center on April 7, 2018. The number of students enrolled in are: 1,347 undergraduate students and 610 graduate students respectively.

President Hisataka Moriwaki offered the following words of encouragement to the newly-enrolled: "I want you to strive to become members of society capable of contributing to Japanese society and the global community." "We hope you enjoy and utilize Gifu University, whether as a graduate student who has a clear vision for his/her future as a highly advanced professional, or as a graduate student aspiring to become a researcher while firmly holding on to his/her dreams."

On behalf of undergraduate students, Mr. Yuma Matsuura of the Faculty of Regional Studies, and on behalf of graduate students, Mr. Yusuke Yamada of the Graduate School of Engineering made their statements about their resolutions of studying at Gifu University. Mr. Matsuura said, "We pledge to dedicate ourselves to our studies and research, and make every effort for our future."
