Graduate School for Professionals in Education and Yamagata City Education Board signed Memorandum of Understanding on Partnership to Enhance Teaching Staff Qualification

The Graduate School for Professionals in Education, Gifu University was established in 2008, and the new School Administrator Prepare Course and Education Practice Development were introduced in 2017.
The graduate school and Yamagata City Education Board signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Partnership to Enhance Teaching Staff Qualification on January 30, 2018. The MOU is expected to facilitate the collaboration and aims to return the achievements made between the two institutions back to schools and local communities.
Yamagata City is the first municipality in Gifu Prefecture that kicked off a teacher-dispatching program to the graduate school in 2017, and it was realized at a strong request from School Principals' Association.

With the MOU signing as a great momentum, the graduate school and the city will continue to work closely together to enhance teaching staff qualification by encouraging more teachers' attending the graduate school in the future.
