Gifu University School of Medicine Alumni Association held a "Monumental Stone Unveiling Ceremony to Commemorate the Former Site of the School of Medicine, Gifu University" at 'Minna no Mori' Gifu Media Cosmos, Tsukasa-machi Town, Gifu City on June 26, 2017.

The association has erected the stone at the former site of the School of Medicine, Gifu University and the University Hospital, both of which operated at Tsukasa-machi Town from July, 1876 to May, 2004.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Mamoru Aoki, President of the association and President Hisataka Moriwaki of Gifu University gave speeches, and the ceremony started.
