Health Administration Center hosts Faculty Development Seminar titled, "Prevention of Infectious Diseases"

On November 9, 2016, the Health Administration Center hosted the Faculty Development (FD) seminar titled, "Prevention of Infectious Diseases" at the Faculty of Engineering. The main purpose of this seminar is to help both the international students studying at Gifu University and the students studying abroad to maintain their mental and physical health, and spend a meaningful time overseas. This kind of seminar is in high demand today as Gifu University is pushing forward globalization, and the number of international students studying at the university as well as Japanese students studying abroad is on constant rise.

In the seminar, Dr. Mayumi Yamamoto, Director of the Health Administration Center explained about the real situations of infectious diseases including tuberculosis and their countermeasures in place at Gifu University by quoting scientific data. The teaching and administrative staff at present were intently listening to her explanation.

Gifu University continues to hold the Faculty Development seminar / workshops in order to take proper measures against infections at each faculty.
