"Papi-fes" Delivery Lecture (cervical cancer prevention campaign) is held

On October 19, 2016, "Papi-fes" Delivery Lecture (cervical cancer prevention campaign) was held at the university auditorium. It was held as part of a women support plan of Gifu Shimbun Newspaper ("Gifu Shimbun Women net") whose purpose is to offer an opportunity to the younger generation including university students to deepen their understanding about cervical cancer.
Gifu University concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with the Daily Newspaper Gifu Shimbun on March 23, 2015, and the two jointly organized the delivery lecture this time.

On October 19, Dr. Hiroshi Makino (clinician) and Dr. Michiyo Sugiyama of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Gifu University Hospital spoke about physical features of females, early detection of cervical cancer, etc. in accordance with the given themes by using easy-to-understand expressions.

Gifu University and Gifu Shimbun Newspaper continue to cooperate to carry out various programs for local communities under the comprehensive partnership agreement.
